Beverly in Bloom

The City of Beverly's Beverly in Bloom traffic island beautification program is back!

This public-private partnership program has had an enormous, positive impact on improving the aesthetics on Beverly's roads and provides great exposure for its sponsors. Mayor Michael P. Cahill is proud to continue this beautification effort in conjunction with the Department of Public Services, Recreation Department and volunteers throughout the community. The City greatly appreciates the time, effort and expense put into this program by our many generous sponsors.  Having so many businesses and groups participating in this program truly helps make Beverly the “Garden City'' and enhances the image of our great city.

The City of Beverly has been working to revamp and enhance the Beverly in Bloom program (also known as Adopt-An-Island). The City has over 50 traffic islands that are eligible for the Beverly-in-Bloom program.

Interested businesses or non-profit community groups can apply for a specific island or be randomly assigned one. Existing traffic island sponsors have preference but the city reserves the right to reassign islands that do not conform to the 2023 rules and regulations or those who do not respond or apply by May 1. Completed applications can be emailed to Bruce Doig, Recreation Department at bdoig@beverlyma.gov or 55 Ober Street, Beverly, MA 01915
