Rent / Mortgage Assistance

A program has been established with the use of $240,000 in Beverly Community Preservation Act funds to assist Beverly residents who have experienced difficulty in paying their rent or mortgage (with a low income housing deed restriction in place) as a direct result of loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and who are not eligible for other forms of assistance.  If you or someone you know would like to learn more about the program please contact the administering agency, North Shore Community Action Programs (NSCAP),by calling 978-548-5776, emailing Funds 2020 or visiting the NSCAP website.

On May 18, 2020 Governor Baker supplied additional information regarding the 4-phased re-opening plan for Massachusetts, including specific details about the businesses that could re-open in Phase 1 along with guidance has to how to re-open safely.
