ARPA Funding Virtual Community Meeting
Tuesday, September 14, 2021
Please join Mayor Cahill for a community meeting to discuss how to prioritize ARPA fund spending in Beverly. This virtual meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 14 at 7:00pm via Zoom. Use this link to join the meeting: https://zoom.us/j/99657899521
Signed into effect by President Biden on March 11, 2021, the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) seeks to help the country recover from the devastating impacts of the pandemic, providing emergency funding for state, local, territorial, and tribal governments. The $12.6 million dollars in ARPA funds that Beverly receives will lay the foundation for a strong and equitable recovery.
Mayor Cahill and his staff will begin the meeting with a brief presentation on ARPA and the categories for funding, then Beverly residents, business owners, and community organizations will have the opportunity to share your experiences, and your ideas, and priorities for how this funding should be utilized in our community.
