Biography
Officer Lipinski has served in the role of Animal Control Officer and Animal Inspector for the City of Beverly since July of 2014. He grew up in Lynn, Massachusetts and currently resides in Essex, Massachusetts. He attended Essex Agricultural and Technical High School in Danvers, Massachusetts where he majored in Veterinary Technology. He received his undergraduate degree in Wildlife and Zoology from Unity College in Maine.
During his high school and early college years he worked for Angell Memorial Veterinary Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts as a Veterinary Technician. Since completing his undergraduate degree in 2011 he has served as a Veterinary Technician with New England Veterinary Clinic in Salem, Massachusetts as well as served both the City of Newburyport and the Town of West Newbury in the role of Animal Control Officer and Animal Inspector. He is a graduate of the Animal Control Officers Association of Massachusetts Academy (2012), National Animal Care and Control Association Academy (2014) as well as the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Training Alliance Reserve Police Officer Academy (2017).
Officer Lipinski takes a large interest in canine behavior and working together with members of the community to provide long lasting, healthy, and enjoyable human-pet relationships. Officer Lipinski also takes a large interest in wildlife and assisting citizens with wildlife matters. He spends his leisure time camping, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and taking in Boston sporting events. He also enjoys spending time with his friends, family and his adorable cat named Axle, who he rescued on the job.
